Hundreds of skiers are expected on the opening weekend.
The 5-star Emily Sport Hotel in Lviv will open the summer season on the largest alpine dry ski slope (19.000 m2 / 205.000 sq ft) in the world next weekend. After a successful second winter season with abundant snow, which began in December 2022 and ended at the end of March 2023, extensive revision work was carried out on the chairlift and snowmaking systems. In addition, the Slopetrax mats from Skitrax World were cleaned and prepared for the new summer ski season. First test runs on alpine skis and snowboards were successfully carried out.
The opening of the new alpine Dry Ski Slope is expected to take place in nice weather and hundreds of skiing enthusiasts are expected to attend the event.
