For many years, Bergbahn Kitzbuehel (Austria) has been using Lifttrax sliding mats for the lift entry and exit of many chairlifts. Already at the end of October the snow season is opened at Pass Thurn (Resterhöhe). With hoarded "leftover snow" from the last season, an optimal training area can thus be made available to racers of the various performance levels at an early stage. Dozens of national teams train here until the first races of the season start.
