Hotel Engel with 30m tubing track.

It is hard to believe what can be done with a small front garden without a wall. The manager of the 4-star Hotel Engel, Mr. Alfred Bloch, had the idea to use the space for a children's tubing track. First plans were made and the result was a 30m long tubing track with a small curve at the end of the track. The Tubtrax M2.1 modules were used. A fleece covers the ground and the Tubtrax mats are attached to it with special pegs. To get the kids back to the start, a fleece carpet was laid out on which the kids can effortlessly pull the Epic tubes up - off to the next ride.

The end of the track was covered with safety pads - but until then no one is likely to slip! The new "Break Pads" from Skitrax were used. These are simply inserted into the existing rhombs of the mats. This way the speed of the Epic tubes can be regulated and at the end of the track the tubing tyres can be brought to a standstill.

The season starts at the beginning of August.
