Artificial Ski Slope in Oberaudorf open from December.
The season is about to start on Bavaria's first alpine dry ski slope with Skitrax plastic mats in the Hocheck ski area in Oberaudorf. At just 500m above sea level (!), skiing will be possible at weekends from 02. December 2023.
The practice slope is 75m long and 10m wide. A comfortable, eclectic conveyor belt takes skiers and boarders back to the start. The offer is for beginners and ski fans of all ages who want to get back on their skis for a few hours - regardless of the snow conditions.
The ticket prices for this slope are the same: Day ticket € 12.00
Half-day ticket (morning or afternoon) € 10.00
You can park right next to the practice area. Parking fee here € 3.00 per day - refund € 2.00 when buying a lift ticket. Directions to the parking lot - simply follow the signs to the parking lot "Übungsgelände".
Of course you can also travel CO²-neutral by train to Oberaudorf. From Oberaudorf train station, you can easily reach the valley station on foot in approx. 8 minutes. If you don't have skis, you can hire them locally from the ski hire shop.
In winter, you can ski here four times a week on one of the longest floodlit slopes in Germany.
