Saving electricity with Tubtrax Tubing tracks at the Christmas market.
Where possible, cities and municipalities in Germany and other EU countries are trying to save electricity. Christmas lighting is being reduced, street lighting dimmed, and businesses at Christmas markets are also having to make changes for the most part. Everything that is operated with electricity is put to the test, for example carousels, boat swings, but also ice skating rinks, ice rinks, or ice slides that are operated with electricity.
But what to do when ice or snow may/cannot be produced? With our Tubtrax sliding mats, tubing rinks and ice slides can be operated without electricity! For many years now, clever entrepreneurs have been installing temporary tubing tracks with our sliding mats and tubing tires in various European cities.
For example, every Christmas season a 30m long tubing track is set up in the French city of Lille. Many thousands of spectators come every year to make a few rapid descents. Next to it, a Christmas market is set up, where tubers can fortify themselves with mulled wine and crêpes. The Christmas markets with spectacular tubing tracks in Paris, Augsburg, Madrid, Barcelona, Lille, Porto, etc. are highly interesting.
For December, many new tubing tracks in Ireland, France, Spain, USA and Portugal will again use our Tubtrax mats with our "Tubtrax Module System".
The main thing is that everyone has a lot of fun and still saves electricity!
