Downhill with the Zipfelbob
Multi-functional application.
"A group of enthusiastic Zipfelbob and "Poporutscher" riders said to themselves, "It's a great idea. They used the freestyle water jump in Oberaudorf (GER) for the first time to ski down the hill with their sports equipment.
Due to the ruts underneath the sports equipment, the ride on the Skitrax nubs is stabilized and a straight slide is guaranteed. With the tip "wax the sliding surface" the ride went even faster and the enthusiasm was brilliant.
Immediately the planning for a Zipfelbob contest was taken up - let's wait and see. The 5.8.2012 was already taken in planning - as a demonstration in the context of the "German Freestyle Water Jumping Championships" at the same place.

September 2023 ein FIS Freestyle Ski Summer Grand Prix auf der größten Freestyle Wasserschanzen der Welt, trax Gleitmaten von Skitrax World im australischen Brisbane statt. Hier wurde in den letzten Jahren ca. 1800m2 Watertrax Gleitmatten ausgelegt. Wegen der warmen Temperaturen, kann auf dieser Anlage das ganze Jahr trainiert werden. Kein Wunder, dass die australischen Freestyler zu den besten der Welt gehören.
Grand final on the Golden Coast in Australia. For the first time, an FIS Freestyle Ski Summer Grand Prix took place on 09 September 2023 on the world's largest freestyle water jump, in Brisbane, Australia. Approximately 1800m2 of Watertrax glide mats from Skitrax World have been laid out here in recent years. Because of the warm temperatures, training can take place here all year round. No wonder that the Australian freestylers are among the best in the world.
