With Ski & Boards jump into an air bag

Perfect training in the summer for freestylers.

In Slovakia, near Bratislava, a professional alpine slopestyle facility with an air bag was built. Here slope stylers can jump with skis or snowboard into a big air bag. Two facilities were built.

A smaller facility for jumping into a big air bag. A 30 m long approach brings the right speed to the kicker. Then there is no turning back - whether with a straight jump or with somersault forward, backward or double cork - you land softly in the air bag. A second facility has a double approach, each with a jump into a long airbag that gently catches even risky jumps.

This way of training jumps in summer is becoming more and more popular. For the approach and the kicker the fast Watertrax sliding mats are used. Especially at the kicker the mats show why they are one of the most successful gliding mats of the last decades. Due to the firm 20mm high knobs, they give the ski or snowboard a firm grip when pushing off the ski jump table - so even the most difficult jumps work out. We have supplied the mats for such constructions for several facilities around the world.

Shredding over the obstacles. A lot has changed in recent years. Globally, the demand for "skiing & snowboarding & tubing" is growing rapidly. Especially in countries where there is no snow or only in high mountain areas, the interest is very high. On small or large alpine ry slope slopes, no matter where in the world, alpine skiers, slopestylers, freestylers, skicrossers, freeskiers can do all year round what otherwise only works in the "snow" areas - carving, riding, sliding, jumping until the lights are turned off. The middle class in countries like China, Thailand, Brazil, Mexico and many more is growing fast and so is the desire for first skiing opportunities. The more "on-site skiing" is offered and refined on dry slope mats in these countries, and even cooperations are entered into, e.g. with winter sports areas in the Alps, the more winter sports enthusiasts come from these countries to the advertising winter sports areas later in the winter.

Über die Obstacles shredden. Es hat sich viel verändert in den letzten Jahren. Global wächst die Nachfrage nach „Skifahren & Snowboarden & Tubing“ rapide. Gerade in den Ländern, wo kein Schnee fällt oder nur in hohen Berglagen, ist das Interesse sehr groß. Auf kleinen oder großen Mattenskipisten, egal wo auf der Welt, können alpine Skifahrer, Slopestyler, Freestyler, Skicrosser, Freeskier das ganze Jahr machen, was sonst nur in den „Schnee“gebieten funktioniert - carven, riden, sliden, jumpen bis das Licht abgeschaltet wird.

Vynnyky Mattenskigebiet mit 3 Pisten vorn dabei. Schon vor ungefähr 100 Jahren gab es die ersten Anfänge mit Mattenskifahren. Richtig professionell wir das Skifahren auf Kunststoffmatten seit 60 Jahre betrieben. Aber wo stehen die längsten und größten Mattenskigebiete? Der britische Journalist Patrick Thorne hat dazu eine umfangreiche Auflistung erstellt. Die Frage ist, wo das neue Mattenskigebiet Vynnyky Ski Resort in der ukrainischen Stadt Lemberg (Lwiw) einzuordnen ist? Dazu im folgenden eine Zusammenstellung der weltgrößten Mattenskigebiete und eine Einordnung des neuen Vynnyky Ski Resorts.
