Over 500 mountain resort experts on board
Show must go on - under this motto, mountain resorts in the USA survived the last winter well. Due to the different Corona measures depending on the state, a few ski resorts still had requirements (e.g. mandatory masks), but most winter sports resorts no longer had any restrictions. Each year, the National Ski Area Association (NSAA) meeting is held in a different city.
Skitrax World came in contact with existing customers and many new mountain railroads and is looking forward to expanding the good business with the US mountain railroads. New contracts were signed for the installation of tubing lifts. In addition, several mountain railroads will equip their chairlift entrances and exits with Lifttrax next season. During the many discussions, particular interest was shown in the various Skitrax glide mats for use for children's ski school, slopestyle parks and tubing lanes in summer.
Of course, the nightlife in Music City Nashville was not neglected - although the music magic in the many restaurants and bars starts already around 11 o'clock. What is presented here daily in music and singing - absolute world class.
The conference days in Nashville were accompanied very sunny with 32 degrees. So was the final official NSAA 18 hole Scamble golf tournament: very warm, dried out hard ground and lots of water around the fairways. My sunken golf balls are still looking for worthy new owners and I have 1 kg less luggage for the flight back.
