Silbersattel with freestyle park
Cool steep turns and wave runs.
The Silbersattel ski resort is the largest ski area in Thuringia. An outdoor organizer uses the Skitrax mats for a special application: even before the start of the season, wooden wave tracks and curve elements are equipped with SlopeTrax mats and set up in such a way that skiers and snowboarders can actively ski down the undulating slopestyle slope even with little snow.
Especially the stone wall curve has turned out to be an extraordinary attraction. Especially in winter, with these waves and curve elements, no additional snow and costly service work is needed. In addition, the snow on the mats remains longer because it is compacted by skiers over the season.
