The ski resorts of Kitzbühel and Jochberg / Pass Thurn are among the largest connected ski areas in the world. The lift operators not only pay attention to high standards of the chairlifts and gondolas, but also use Lifttrax glide mats on 6 chairlifts for a stone-free and clean lift entrance.

Plan B für die Skihütten und Skipistenbetreiber. Die größten Restaurants in einem Skigebiet sind meist in der Nähe der Bergbahn an der Talstation oder bei der Ankunft auf der Bergstation. Die schönsten und fetzigsten Hütten liegen aber überwiegende an der Skipiste oder etwas Abseits der Skipiste. Zu Beginn der Ski Saison wird eine extra Piste mit Neuschnee oder Kunstschnee von der Skipiste zur Skihütte angelegt - die dann für die ganze Saison reichen soll. Mittlerweile ein Wunschtraum geworden.
