Perfekter Service am Einstiegsbereich des Sesselliftes

Neuer, moderner Lifteinstieg für das bekannte Skigebiet in Appalachian Mountain Resort in North Carolina (USA).

Die Stammkunden im Skigebiet werden überrascht sein, wie schnell die Ski und Boards zum Sessellift Einstieg dahingleiten.

Mit den schnellen Lifttrax SP Gleitmatten hat Appalachian Mountain Resort als erstes Skigebiet in den USA, diese schnellen Matten als Top Service für die Wintersportler installiert. Damit werden keine Skibeläge durch kleine Steine oder anderen Dreck zerkratz. Das fällt alles zwischen die ca. 2 cm hohen Rautenstruktur der Matten - und verschwindet. Was in den europäischen Skigebieten schon seit vielen Jahren für die Lifteinstiege und Liftausstiege genutzt wird, nun éndlich auch in den USA angekommen.

Als NSAA Mitglied freuen wir uns über diese Entwicklung und auf konstruktive Gespräche mit anderen US Bergbahnen - spätestens auf der Jahrestagung 2025 in Marco Island (Florida).

New, modern lift entrance for the well-known ski area in Appalachian Mountain Resort in North Carolina (USA).

Regular customers at the ski resort will be surprised at how quickly the skis and boards glide to the chairlift entrance.

With the fast Lifttrax SP glide mats, Appalachian Mountain Resort is the first ski resort in the USA to install these fast mats as a top service for winter sports enthusiasts. This means that no ski bases are scratched by small stones or other dirt. This all falls between the approx. 2 cm high diamond structure of the mats - and disappears. What has been used for lift entrances and exits in European ski resorts for many years has now finally arrived in the USA.

As an NSAA member, we look forward to this development and to constructive discussions with other US mountain railroads - at the latest at the 2025 NSAA Convention in Marco Island (Florida).
