Imagic Park opened.

On the 3rd floor of the large shopping mall "Lomas Mall" in the Santa Fe district of Mexico City, the new "Imagic Park" was finally opened in November 2018 after long planning. In the middle between the noble shops of world-famous brands for clothing, electronics, furniture, toys, etc., a mysterious amusement park of several 1000 m2 was built, featuring a large restaurant, a climbing wall, and other smaller attractions. Above everything, a circulating chair lift with two chairs hovers under the ceiling, where the whole park can be viewed from above.

A small staircase leads to the 1000 square metre ice-karting track. Here, too, the light has been used to create a very special, mystical atmosphere. While the karts slide and drift on the Skitrax Ice-Karting mats on the track, visitors can walk on wooden stairs and walkways above the track and watch the karts from above. The facility is the attraction in Mexico City and magically draws many karting fans of all ages.

Modern electric karts can be driven for up to 45 minutes without a break. It is exhilarating when the accelerator pedal is used to accelerate the rear tyres in the bend and the kart drifts through the curve. But be careful, if you give it too much gas, you'll quickly spin over for sure - just like ice karting on real ice. What is needed here is a sensitive driver who can handle the kart even in extreme situations. The fact that many Mexicans can do this and compete with friends in a race is shown by the large number of visitors every day.

Further ice-karting facilities by Imagic Park are in the installation phase in Puebla and Mérida - unfortunately, the shopping malls are not yet ready for a timely opening.
