What a successful trade fair for Skitrax World

The IAAPA Expo in Orlando has ushered in a new post-Coroan era. Over 41000 visitors at the EXPP on the 4 days of the fair. New visitor record. Not all visitors were at our modest stand, but we were also able to set a new visitor record and even collect orders.

Most of the visitors came from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, other Central American countries and from all over South America.

4 days from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the stand are exhausting, but the evenings were relaxing. Normally 20 degrees in the evening is normal, this time the temperatures went down like a rollercoaster to 5 degrees and at the end of the fair back to normal temperatures of up to 28 degrees in the sun.

Orlando is always worth a visit. We have been there for several years now and welcome our regular customers and mostly new customers every year. In 2025, new mat ski areas, ice karting tracks, tubing tracks and mats for lift zones of the mountain railroads will be installed on the continent. We are looking forward to it.

Erfolgreiche Messe auf dem amerikanischen Kontinent

Die IAAPA Expo in Orlando hat eine neue Nach Coroan Ära eingeleitet. Über 41000 Besucher auf der EXPP an der 4 Messetagen. Neuer Besucher Rekord. Nicht alle Messse Besucher waren auch auf unserem bescheidenen Stand, aber auch wir konnten einen neuen Besucherrekord verzeichnen und sogar gleich Aufträge einsammeln.

Die Besucher kamen überwiegend aus den USA, Kanada, Mexico, Kuba, weiteren mittelamerikanischen Staaten und aus ganz Südamerika.

4 Tage von 9-19 Uhr auf den Stand sind schon anstrengend, dafür waren die Abende entspannend. Normalerweise sind 20 Grad am Abend normal, diesmal gingen die Temperaturen wie ein Rollercoaster bis auf 5 Grad runter und am Ende der Messe wieder zurück auf Normaltemperatur bis zu 28 Grad in der Sonne.

Orlando ist immer eine Reise wert. Seit mehreren Jahren sind wir nun schon dort und begrüssen jeder Jahr unseren Stammkunden und überwiegend Neukunden. So werden in 2025 neue Mattenskigebiete, Ice-Karting Bahnen, Tubing Bahnen und Matten für Liftzonen der Bergbahnen auf dem Kontinent installiert. Wir freuen uns darauf.

Umweltfreundliches Gleiten - auch bei hohen Außentemperaturen - oder es nur gut Gleiten soll. Slide Liquid ist ein umweltfreundliches Gleitmittel für den Betrieb von Sessel/Liftbereichen Tubing Bahnen, Mattenskigebieten und Ice-Karting Bahnen. Insbesondere der Sommer 2022 gezeigt, daß die Außentemperaturen sogar Richtung 40 Grad reichten. Durch den Kontakt zwischen Ski und/ oder Tubing Reifen oder Karts mit den Kunststoffmatten entsteht Reibung. Reibung erzeugt Hitze und führt zum Abrieb. Um diesen Abrieb wesentlich zu reduzieren, dient unser Öko-Gleitmittel Slide Liquid.

Sustainable production and installation of the mats. Microabrasion low and bound. We have been producing our plastic mats in Bavaria for over 15 years. We continuously research improvements and optimize our plastic processing. Our granulates consist mainly of DIN standardized polyethylene and UV stabilizers, supplied by German suppliers. A special mix of raw materials is the basis of our mats, whose 2cm high knobs do not break and offer enormous resistance to the steel edges of the skis. The individual 22x22cm mats are used to join large, even surfaces. In addition, the mats can also be quickly disassembled and stored on pallets, depending on whether the mats are to be used permanently or only temporarily.

Nachhaltige Produktion und Verlegung der Matten

Nachhaltige Produktion und Verlegung der Matten . Microabrieb gering und gebunden . Wir produzieren seit über 15 Jahren unsere Kunststoffmatten in Bayern. Kontinuierlich forschen wir nach Verbesserungen und optimieren unsere Kunststoffverarbeitung. Unsere Granulate bestehen überwiegend aus DIN genormten Polyethylen und UV-Stabilisatoren, geliefert von deutschen Lieferanten. Ein besonderer Mix der Grundstoffe ist die Basis unserer Matten, deren 2cm hohe Noppen nicht brechen und den Stahlkanten der Ski enormen Widerstand leisten. Mit den einzelnen 22x22cm großen Matten werden große, ebenmäßige Flächen zusammengesteckt werden. Dazu können die Matten auch schnell wieder auseinandergenommen und auf Paletten gelagert werden, je nachdem ob die Matten fix oder nur temporär genutzt werden sollen.

Positive CO2 balance with alpine dry ski slope. Dry slope amazes with calculation. Not all that glitters is gold! An alpine dry slope area is quickly built, but how sustainable is the installation? What is their CO2 balance? A calculation on this was carried out in January 2023 based on the built alpine dry ski slope in the children's area at the Hocheck adventure mountain in Oberaudorf (GER). What was built? The synthetic slope in the practice area has a length of approx. 76 meters as well as a width of approx. 7.25 meters, a total of approx. 2.3 tons of plastic (for slope + fleece ) was laid on approx. 560 sqm for this purpose. The production of 1 ton of plastic causes approx. 2 tons of CO² emission, the energy expenditure for the recycling at the end of the life span causes additionally approx. 3 tons of CO² emission.
