Freestyle ramp under the roof.
In the Chinese city of Harbin (Heilongyang Province) with its 10 million inhabitants, one of the largest indoor ski halls in the world was opened in spring 2017. The total area covers 80 hectares. The Chinese Wanda Group has built an indoor ski hall there with a length of 100m and 6 ski runs next to each other, where up to 1500 people can ski at the same time per hour.
In addition, there is a large skating rink, a skate park, a theater, an Imax cinema and a large shopping mall with 4 & 5 star hotels. There is a large artificial ice rink with stands, but it is not only used for skating.
Above the skating rink, directly under the ceiling, a mobile ski jump is installed. Top freestylers use it almost every day and jump from the mobile jump on the Slopetrax sliding mats directly into an installed air bag. The athletes show breathtaking jumps with spins and multiple somersaults.
Several film crews have already been there and brought back footage first.
